Embark on an unforgettable hike through the upper section of the McKenzie River Trail. Nestled in a lush forest canopy following cascading waterfalls, and a crystal clear river this is an outdoor adventure that is full of attraction! Our Best of McKenzie Shuttle lets you experience the most iconic portion of the McKenzie River  Trail with a convenient thru-hike!

How It Works

Meet us at Trail Bride Reservoir, our starting point for those boarding the shuttle. This is the same parking area as the Blue Pool Trailhead. Once you arrive, we’ll load up you and your gear up and hit the road. You’ll be able to take the trail at your pace, but it’s typically around 3 to 4 hours total. We will drop you of at the south end of Clear Lake. From there you can decide which way you would like to split to begin your Journey!

Once you’re on the trail, if you need to be picked up mid hike, we are happy to help if we are available, but you will be charged accordingly.

Excellent
#1 of 7 Specialty lodging in McKenzie Bridge

“After a recommendation from a friend on the shuttle service up to the McKenzie river trail my wife and I decided to make a short trip from Bend to ride the McKenzie river trail and stay at the lodge. We arrived in the morning and the shuttle took us and our bikes up to the top of McKenzie River trail. Shuttle driver was friendly and informed us of some of the other trails to take advantage of the next time we were in town. The trail was beautiful but a bit long and technical for my wife who was on her 2nd ride of the year on her mountain bike. We stayed in the Tamolitch Cabin. It was a perfect balance of rustic with modern amenities. The rooms and amenities were well thought out to make sure the guests had an enjoyable experience in which we did. Alyssa and here husband were there to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely revisit Horse Creek soon and this time stay an extra night.” — Mike T. (via Yelp)
