Horse Creek Lodge & Outfitters is located on 56228 Delta Drive in McKenzie Bridge, Oregon. We’re about 50 miles east of Eugene and just minutes away from the famous McKenzie River Trail, so there’s plenty of ways for you to explore!

Yes. We are open all year, and our cabins are available during the winter. After all, there’s nothing better than curling up in front of a fire, and all our lodges come equipped! Depending on the weather conditions, our shuttles and rentals may not be available. Please check the booking calendar on each individual activity page for more information about availability during winter months.
The roads are well-maintained in the winter, and our lodge is accessible year-round. We encourage guests to look at Tripcheck for up-to-the-minute info on road conditions, closures, and weather advisories. We will also reach out to our guests directly if there are any weather or road conditions to be aware of.
Absolutely! We can help you host your event, whether it’s a seminar, retreat, family reunion, wedding, or something completely different. We can even help you with transportation to and from the event! Our 14-passenger buses and vans are available for as low as $60 per hour, including the driver.
Yes. Our listed cabin rates all include the 9.8% state and city lodging tax.
Our cancellation policy depends on which property you have booked. At the Delta House, cancellations made within 7 days of scheduled arrival will be charged for one night. For our other cabins, cancellations within 48 hours of scheduled arrival will be charged for one night. Any cancellations made without notifying us will be charged the full reservation amount, and early departures will also be charged in full.
We do allow pets in our cabins on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us if you are considering bringing your furry friend along so that we can let you know before your stay with us.
Although our fireplaces are cozy, they’re not our only source of heat! Our cabins also come equipped with mini-split heat pumps, as well as air conditioning to cool you down in the summer.
Yes they do! Please note, however, that we do not provide charcoal for the outdoor barbecue. If you’d like to purchase some, we recommend visiting the nearby McKenzie General Store.
Definitely. Anyone age five or older is welcome on our rafting trips — no previous experience necessary!
There’s plenty of reservoirs and lakes for you to enjoy by kayak or paddleboard, and they’re all located only a short drive (20 to 25 minutes) from the McKenzie Outdoor Center. Here are our favorites:
The McKenzie River Trail is suitable for intermediate to advanced mountain bikers, as well as the O’Leary Trail Loop. However, riders on the latter should anticipate little to no cell phone service, so being self-sufficient is a must. Lastly, we recommend that only advanced riders use the Olallie Trail.
