McKenzie River Trail Shuttle Service (MRT Shuttle)

The McKenzie River Trail (MRT) is one of the most iconic rides in Oregon—and having the right shuttle service makes all the difference. Our McKenzie River Trail shuttle makes your adventure seamless, so you can focus on the ride instead of logistics.

Spanning more than 25 miles through the Willamette National Forest, the MRT features stunning waterfalls, lush forest, and ancient lava fields. It’s a must-ride for intermediate to advanced mountain bikers and adventurous hikers alike.

How It Works

Begin your journey at Horse Creek Lodge, the designated pickup point for our pre-ride hike shuttles. Conveniently located about one mile west of the McKenzie River Trail’s end. Once you arrive, we’ll load you and your bike into the shuttle and hit the road, setting you up for a day of exploration.

Tackle the trail at your own pace, typically completing the route in around 5 to 6 hours. The MRT offers diverse landscapes, with opportunities to soak in the stunning views, snap photos of waterfalls, and experience the unique geology of the area. Each section of the trail has something special to offer, ensuring a rewarding experience for all.

After your ride, simply head down the highway for one mile from the lower trailhead. Take a left turn toward Horse Creek Lodge. When you return, enjoy the amenities we offer like a bike wash or take a hot outdoor shower. Grab a beverage from one of our sponsors before heading out on your next adventure!

You can choose between a pre-ride or post-ride shuttle; using both is not required. If you find yourself needing a mid-ride pickup while on the McKenzie River Trail, we’re happy to assist if we’re available, but please note that additional charges will apply. Get ready for an unforgettable day on one of the best trails around!

Pre-ride shuttle: $35 per person
Post-ride shuttle: $35 per person

We recommend making reservations at least one day in advance. If you’d like to book with less than 24-hour notice, please call us at 1-541-822-3243
e-Bikes are currently not allowed on the MRT, O’Leary, Olallie, or King Castle trails

Departure Time

Pre-ride shuttle: 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM
Post-ride shuttle: 5:00 PM
Early Bird Shuttle: 7:30 AM Shuttle offered when temps are 90 degrees or higher. Also available upon request.

What to Bring

All shuttle guests planning to go mountain biking must have a helmet.
